I’m also grateful to our external partners who have provided their expertise to support the development of the programme, such as Aston University, and those from across The Martin James Foundation who have kindly donated their time and skills to support mentoring our EPIC Young Business participants and Alumni.
Thanks to generous donations from The Martin James Network, Agility Fleet Services, Arconic Foundation & St. James’ Place, we’ve grown the programmes’ impact to over 20 young entrepreneurs supported in 2022, with investment to expand further in 2023.
We also hosted our first-ever EPIC Young Entrepreneurs Awards evening, which saw over 80 young entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the country connect for a night of networking and celebration, thanks to the donations of our Awards Sponsors.
A Strong Team
Finally, I would like to recognise the achievements of EPIC’s core team. Over the last 12 months, they have developed:
A new programme of delivery
A new suite of internal processes and procedures
A new website and online programme delivery platform.
They accomplished this all whilst building partnerships and providing bespoke 1-2-1 business mentoring and coordination for more than 20 young people!
